Child Safety Standards (CSAE)
The published standards Muave follows to prevent, detect, and act on child safety violations.
Muave is a matching platform strictly for adults aged 18 and over. We maintain zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in any form. These are the published standards we follow to prevent, detect, and act on child safety violations.
1. Adults only — no minors permitted
Muave is an 18+ service. Every user must confirm they are 18 or older and accept our Terms of Service before an account can be created. Our app store listings carry adult (18+ / Mature) age ratings. Accounts found or suspected to belong to minors are removed immediately.
2. Zero tolerance for CSAE and CSAM
We prohibit any content or behavior that sexualizes, exploits, or endangers minors, including grooming, sextortion, solicitation, and the creation, sharing, or requesting of CSAM. Violations result in immediate account termination and preservation of evidence for law enforcement.
3. In-app reporting
Every profile and every conversation in Muave includes a built-in reporting mechanism. Users can flag any account — including a dedicated report option for users who appear to be under 18 — from the Discover screen, any profile page, or any chat. Reports are confidential.
4. Human review within 24 hours
All reports are reviewed by our moderation team within 24 hours. Content or accounts that violate these standards are removed. Blocking a user removes them from the reporter's experience instantly and automatically notifies our moderation team.
5. Reporting to authorities
When we identify CSAM or credible evidence of child sexual exploitation, we report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) in the United States and/or the relevant regional and national authorities, and we cooperate with lawful requests from law enforcement.
6. Compliance
Muave complies with all applicable child safety laws, including mandatory reporting obligations, and with the child safety policies of the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
7. Designated child safety contact
Our designated point of contact for child safety matters is available at ben@parityventures.app. This contact is prepared to discuss our CSAM prevention practices and compliance.
